Flying High with God

It had been almost 18 years since I last flew on an airplane, and that was for a vacation with my wife and two young boys. I didn't realize it had been so long. My employer was sending me to the east coast on a business trip. I didn't look forward to it. It was for training, which meant concentration and hard work.

Service

It is our desire to serve and to help build Christ's Kingdom. If making disciples is one of the main goals of Christianity, then reaching the lost and helping new disciples to mature must be included as a part of that. Providing you with tools to help you grow deeper in your faith, and providing you with methods that may help you reach the unsaved for Christ are a part of that service. Some of those tools and methods are included here. Some may be familiar, and others may be new to you. Check them out as we attempt to serve you, in order that you might better serve Him.

They believe they can engage in analytical thinking with little knowledge about a particular subject. Somewhat related, contemporary sermons focus on application rather than any knowledge of Scripture. Parishioners want the end result without hearing any biblical teaching. Modern sermons are long on practical application and short on substance."
